Band elastic is used around the bottom band of bras to help support the frame and provide a snug fit around the chest.  It can also be used in place of picot or lingerie elastic where a more firm elastic is preferred.

Depending on colour, this band elastic is available in 10mm or 12mm widths (measurement does not include the picot/scallop edge.)  If your pattern requires a different width elastic it is easy enough to change the seam allowance on the pattern to suit the elastic width.

Sold in 1 metre increments.
