Potentially influenced by my love of horticulture and the colour green, August's colour inspiration is 'Wild about Nature'
There is something so lazily romantic about these colours. Like you should be in a secluded cabin on the edge of a lake with nothing to do but listen to nature and swan around in gorgeous underwear.
These tones are soft and feminine without being predictable. And if you have a close up look at nature there are infinite colour and texture inspirations.
Apple Green and Blush: These two colours together are as sweet as apple pie! A green and blush lingerie set would look fresh and carefree. I can see this making a great Sierra Bralette by Madalynne Intimates.
Black and Brown: The addition of brown helps to create a bit more depth to black. This lingerie set would look strong and unapologetic and the brown findings are less predictable than black. (Anyone else feel like dark Ghana chocolate all of a sudden?)
Black and Apple Green: This is a fun combination. You could make a solid black, longline bra or corset, such as the Esplanade bra by Orange Lingerie and then use the green velvet ribbon to accentuate seam lines.
Black and Blush: A combo that can be simple and understated - think black velvet bralette with blush findings or make it more sensual with black lace layered over blush satin. Why not add some ruffles while you're at it?
Brown and Blush: A softer pairing than black and blush since these two carry the same colour tones. You could create a fun mix and match design by changing up the dominant colour for bra and briefs.
Seashell pink is a colour that just seems to look perfect combined with almost anything. This findings kit has everything needed to finish your underwire bra. Just add fabric and underwires.
Coming Soon: My two takes on this months colour inspiration with August's limited edition kits.
