Colour Inspiration December - Traditions

Helen Cloke Colour inspiration Limited Edition Kit

December's colour inspiration is all about Christmas Traditions.

We have quite a few traditions in my family - one being having a stir of the Christmas Pud mix and making a wish - everyone gets a turn.

A newly introduced tradition is the decorating of gingerbread houses. My brother's German fiancee introduced this tradition to us and it's something we all look forward to (and are getting a little bit competitive in!)

Here you can see Lily and I busy creating our masterpieces.

December's colour theme as you can see, was inspired by gingerbread and all things xmasy.

For this month's Limited Edition kit, a deep green and pale peach stretch lace is the star of the bra, supported by pale peach powernet and elastics.  Rose gold findings add to the richness and you have the choice of a copper bow or make your own from the forest green ribbon.

Kits can be found here in the shop.

Also in the shop we have a number of Briefs Kits in cotton lycra and lace of various colour combinations. The pinky browns of this kit fit with the xmas gingerbread theme very nicely.

Briefs Kit

This fun and stylish little kit will allow you to create a pair of briefs.  Soft and stretchy cotton lycra is a fantastic fabric to use for briefs and is complimented by a pretty stretch lace.

Each kit includes lingerie elastic to finish the waist and leg edges and of course, underwear wouldn't be complete without an embellishment.

There is such a wide variety of underwear patterns to choose from and so much scope to add your own design details - full lace back? lace only front? lace overlay?  Check out the 'free patterns' listed in the resources tab or have a browse though our blogged pattern reviews if you are unsure what pattern to choose.

You can find the kit here along with other colour combos.

We'd love to see what you make from this month's kit and colour theme. Don't forget to tag us @nelliejoans so we can see what you've been up to.
