What glorious weather we have been having! (OK, today has seen the temperature plummet and I'm back to wearing three layers but I have high hopes that it's just a temporary glitch in summer.)
January in New Zealand is all about summer holidays and beach vibes so it was perfect to base the month's colour inspiration on 'Summer Blues'
This is going to be a short post since I have already compiled some colour and pattern combinations for swimwear based on this theme. Head here to be inspired!
But cool, sandy blues and tropical water aqua tones are great for lingerie too! So here is a small sampling of products in the blue range.
This tropical leaf print mesh in indigo blue and ivory exudes resort style living. It would make a cool bodysuit or longline cropped bra - think underwear as outerwear.
There are plenty of aqua and blue stretch laces that would make gorgeous underwire bras - like this fresh peacock blue one.
Picot elastic can sometimes be the star attraction in a bra and there are some gorgeous blues to choose from, from the subtle Aqua and Sky to the bright Turquoise and moody Petrol. 
Blue isn't a colour I'm naturally drawn to first but I've found lots of inspiration and excitement for it while putting together this month's colour theme. What are your feelings towards blue?
