Colour Inspiration ~ September 'Sweet Treats'

Mmmmm - sweet treats!  I love baking (and eating baking.)  I've heard you first taste with your eyes and with both baking and lingerie being visual feasts there is plenty of colour inspiration to be found in sugary confectionary.

These colours are fun, indulgent and just plain pretty.

Orange and Raspberry: The orange duplex is very bold and vibrant by itself but when layered with the raspberry red stretch lace it transforms into something quite dramatic.

Orange, raspberry and cream: The same combination of orange and raspberry could be used with ivory or cream findings to add freshness and light.

Orange and cream: This is an unexpected combination but the two colours look so soft and feminine together.

Coral: Tone on tone is always lovely, especially in this coral stretch lace.  Make an everyday set by matching a lace bra with briefs sewn from the coral cotton lycra.

Coral, pale grey and cream: The pastels from this months colour inspiration work very well as a trio.  I think these colours and fabric would make a great mix and match, first bra and brief set for a young teen.

Orange and grey:  Dare to be different!  This is a fairly out there combo that I think would look fantastic made up as a low cut, partial band bra.

Orange and off-white: This swimwear fabric combines orange and off-white in a small scale geometric print.  I think a high waisted bikini such as the Sophie swimsuit by Closet Case Patterns would set this print off nicely.

Raspberry and pale grey: You can't go wrong with pink and grey!  The burgundy duoplex layered underneath the raspberry stretch lace brings depth of colour.
