This month's inspiration comes once again from my daughter! Lily does love collecting rocks and crystals and that passion has come out of nowhere. Neither my husband or myself have ever been inclined to collect such things.
There is obviously something about these that Lily is drawn to and it's put me in mind of how all of us have a passion or a pull towards something that lights us up. Colour and fabric is one of these for many of us in the sewing or creative world.
Collecting, hoarding, having a stash - they all amount to our love of creating something beautiful from materials that we as crafters can magically visualise into the finished product in our mind's eye.
Go ahead and be inspired by this month's jewel and crystal like colours - you'll find all the details about it here!
Inspired by the crystal colour scheme of the month and curated to fit our current lockdown lifestyle this kit is all about relaxation and comfort!
I’m picturing this kit sewn up as a snuggly lace edge cami with matching briefs or a super sweet bralette for lounging around.
The main fabric is a buttery soft modal knit in a saturated charcoal grey. Lilac and silver stretch lace mimic the crystal formations and the copper elastic and bows provide a quirky pop of contrasting colour.
The kit comes in four variations - 12mm wide elastics, standard size or extra and 19mm wide elastics, standard and extra.
The extra kit is great for making a matching set and includes a half metre of modal knit and 1m total of lace. Plus 1.5m of fold over elastic and an extra bow.
