The Tulip series of pincushions is available in 12 colours representing the months of the year. Usuzumi-iro represents Shimotsuki (November) in Japan is a time of the first frosts. ‘Usuzumi-iro, the subtle colour of thinned India ink, reminds you of a winter scenery like and Indian-ink drawing.’

The base of the pincushion is made from cherry wood and is designed to be comfortable to the touch and provide steadiness for your needlework.
