Colour Inspiration June ~ 'Pink Thrills'

I have suddenly developed a real love affair with dusky mauve and pinks, spurred on by my purchase of these amazing 'knitted' earrings from Courtney Russ Handmade.

I also received a lovely cyclamen for my birthday last month that fed my obsession and gave rise to this month's colour inspiration 'Pink Thrills.'

I love how the pinks pair with the more earthy green and fawn colours, it creates a nice balance.

This month's kit, featuring this colour scheme, is a doozy!  Chock full of fabulous fabrics so there are almost endless possibilities of what to make with it.

The main fabric is a large print floral scuba on an off-white background.  An extra wide lace in dusky mauve and matching stretch mesh compliment it perfectly.  This is teamed with ivory, mauve and pink findings all topped off with hand-tied bows in a deep shade of green.
