My match-up's ~ Hanna bralette and Montgomery briefs : The Foster kit

I love pretty, sheer, delicate looking briefs and the materials in 'The Foster' kit worked perfectly for both briefs and bra.

I used most of the lace in making the Hanna bralette, lined with the stretch mesh.  The finely scalloped edge was shown off to it's best advantage with this patterns long neckline/top of cup.

I had a small amount of lace remaining and it was the perfect size for the front pattern piece of my all time favourite briefs pattern, the Montgomery by Orange Lingerie.

The back piece of this pattern features an ingenious way of folding and sandwiching the two back pieces together (made out of stretch mesh) so that you don't require any elastic around the back of the leg-holes.  No visible panty lines!!!  But you still get a nice bum coverage and generous rise brief.

So with the lace front and stretch mesh rear it is an easily sewn match to the Hanna bralette.  The waistband edge is finished with a combination of picot elastic and clear elastic.

Such a delicately pretty set and all from the one kit!  These two patterns together make for a really relaxed, easy to wear set.
